Anthony Desnick (USA)Cycling Without Age
Tony Desnick is a parent, bicycle activist, bike share professional, teacher, architect, and urban designer. He is currently the global Development Director at Cycling Without Age. He also operates the Twin Cities affiliate of Cycling Without Age. During his time in the bike share world, he expanded Nice Ride Minnesota, the Twin Cities bikeshare system, into smaller cities in Minnesota. He developed an equity program that brought cycling to members of underserved communities in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. While with Bluegogo and Spin, he opened up cities for free floating bike share which later turned into scooter share.
He advised on a “how to” book for bringing bike share to mid-sized and small cities in Finland. He sits on the Board of the Winter Cycling Federation where he is helping to push the idea that winter biking in northern climates should be normalized.
