Táňa Kratochvílová (SK)Capital City of Slovakia Bratislava
After graduating from the University of Žilina, Táňa Kratochvílová gained more than 30 years of experience in the municipal government. She has worked at Bratislava City Hall, in the districts of Staré Mesto, Karlova Ves and Záhorská Bystrica, and since December 2018 she has held the position of First Deputy Mayor of Bratislava. She specializes in sustainable transport, particularly the questions of public transport preference, urban cycling, pedestrian safety and parking policy. In addition to transport, she deals with the environment – mainly air and water quality issues – and waste management. She participated in the creation of the book “Plán Bratislava” as co-author of the Mobility and City Administration chapters. She has been active in civil society organizations “Triblavina” and “Za našu vodu” (For Our Water).
