Dan is the executive president of Cyklokoalícia, the biggest cycling advocacy NGO in Slovakia. He focuses on influencing national transport policies and advises cities all over Slovakia on how to make their streets more livable and safer. He is a member of the Committee for Policy objective 3 Connected Europe at the Monitoring Committee for Programme Slovakia, as well as the Partnership Council for the Integrated Territorial Development of Bratislava Region. In more than 13 years of interest in sustainable mobility, Dan also coordinated the national Bike to School campaign, worked in urban logistics and was a member of the working group for the creation of the National Road Safety Strategy or the Transport Committee of the Bratislava-Ružinov District. He has lectured at many international conferences on bicycle transport, such as Velo-city, Winter Cycling Congress or VeloFinland, and represents Cyklokoalícia in the European Cyclists’ Federation.
