Jozef Viskupič (SK)
Self-Governing Trnava RegionHe was born in 1976 in Trnava, where he still lives with his family. He studied History and Philosophy in Bratislava and Mass Media Communication in Trnava. In the past he has worked as a project manager, organised concerts and cultural events and worked on the restoration of the Trnava Amphitheatre. In 2010-2017 he was a member of the Parliament of the Slovak Republic. He has worked on issues related to culture, media, public administration, electronic government services and European policy. Since December 2017 he has been the President of the Self-Governing Trnava Region. Since March 2018, he has also been the Chairman of SK8, an association of self-governing regions in Slovakia.
